NALDIC is the subject association for all those interested in the education of bilingual learners with English as an additional language (EAL). NALDIC is committed to meeting the distinctive language and learning needs of bilingual pupils within the education system and the provision of appropriate resources to meet those needs.
NALDIC provides a professional forum for:
- teaching and learning of English as an additional language
- supporting bilingualism
- raising the achievement of ethnic minority learners
- promoting and influencing the development of research, policy and practice
